"Right tank not emptying"
". I flew the A/C last night and there is nothing wrong with either tank feeding. All Cessna 172's should have the fuel selector switch set to either "Left" or "Right" when refueling to prevent cross feeding of the first tank to be refueled to the other tank if left in "Both". this is in the POH I believe what is happening is that the folks are leaving the Fuel selector in "Both", then refueling the left tank first...as they refuel, the fuel is cross feeding through the selector valve to the right tank. So when they move over to fuel the right tank, it appears to have little to no fuel
